With over twenty years of experience in the toy industry and an extensive range of licensed products, NECA caters to diverse interests. Holding more than 50 licenses, NECA has developed thousands of products, providing retailers and distributors globally with a variety of beloved pop culture characters in formats such as 7" scale action figures, prop replicas, and much more.

Position: Staff Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled individual to enhance our finance department by supporting the accounting operations at NECA. This position will report directly to the Senior Accountant and will collaborate closely with various team members throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the monthly financial closing process.
  • Prepare balance sheet analyses and reconciliations to substantiate financial figures.
  • Generate journal entries.
  • Support ad hoc analysis and reporting for the Senior Accountant and other accounting team members.
  • Compile information for the annual audit conducted by an independent CPA firm.
  • Perform additional related tasks and engage in special projects as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 0-2 years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including PivotTables, VLOOKUP's, and SUMIF's).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and a proven track record of adhering to standard operating procedures.
  • A genuine desire to excel in both collaborative and independent work environments, consistently seeking opportunities to learn and take initiative on diverse projects.
