Bilingual Payroll Specialist

*Weekly Pay*1st Shift Mon-Fri 8:30 AM-5:00 PMSalary: $21/hrLocation: Hillside, IL (Corporate Branch)

We are looking for a Payroll Specialist to join our teamThe Payroll Specialist is responsible for maintaining payroll systems and processing paychecks according to schedule and in the correct amount. Their duties include consolidating timesheet information entering data into payroll databases, calculating paycheck amounts, and distributing funds to employee accounts.
Responsibilities Include:

• Perform daily payroll operations, including collecting timesheets from Midway clients and consolidating timesheets in spreadsheets for tracking purposes. 
• Perform updates to payroll-related information and data and manage overall payroll workflow.
• Ensure timely processing of all new hires, promotions, and terminations following federal and state laws. 
• Analyze and audit payroll data for accuracy of posting, including intercompany transactions.
• Prepare and execute pay orders through an electronic system or distribute paychecks.
• Administer statements of payment to personnel either electronically or on paper.
• Process taxes and payment of employee benefits.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Skills needed to succeed:

• Bi-lingual in English and Spanish is a MUST 
• Knowledge of payroll procedures, and federal and state laws. 
• Knowledge of multi-location payroll and taxes. 
• Knowledge of the payable management process, specifically around invoice processing/payments and customer service/resolution
• Communicate clearly and professionally both verbally and in writing.
• Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Self-starter with excellent time management, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• Strong work ethic and sense of integrity, trustworthiness, and ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
• Reliable transportation needed for required travel (up to 10%).
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
