Position Summary:

The Cable Installation Specialist is responsible for executing installations of cable television, high-speed internet, and telephony services in residential and multi-dwelling units. Key Responsibilities:

The Cable Installation Specialist will:
  • Install, disconnect, reconnect, modify, and troubleshoot cable television, internet, telephone, and alarm systems according to established guidelines.
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment effectively.
  • Ensure services operate within designated parameters.
  • Identify and resolve customer-reported issues.
  • Drive a company vehicle safely between various locations.
  • Maintain and organize vehicle and equipment to ensure readiness for tasks.
  • Accurately complete paperwork and provide updates on work order statuses.

Customer Service Excellence:

In this role, you will:
  • Welcome customers into their homes and conduct thorough walkthroughs.
  • Discuss all requested services with customers to ensure clarity and agreement.
  • Engage with customers professionally, especially when addressing escalated concerns.
  • Educate customers on the usage of products and services.

Candidate Profile:

We are seeking individuals who:
  • Are at least 18 years of age.
  • Possess a valid driver's license with a minimum of two years of driving experience.
  • Are authorized to work in the United States.
  • Have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Are comfortable working in confined spaces such as attics or crawl spaces.
  • Can work in various weather conditions.
  • Thrive in fast-paced, time-sensitive environments.
  • Exhibit strong communication skills.
  • Are willing to travel and work extended hours, including overtime and weekends.
  • Can lift, climb, and carry ladders weighing up to 80 lbs.
