Stohlman Automotive, Inc. is a family-owned dealership with a legacy of over 80 years in the DC metro area. We are currently seeking enthusiastic Automotive Sales Advisors to become part of our Stohlman Volkswagen team as we expand our operations. If you have ever considered a career in automotive sales, this is an excellent opportunity to explore your potential.

As an Automotive Sales Advisor, you will have the chance to assist customers in purchasing both new and pre-owned vehicles. We offer a competitive compensation structure that rewards performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of the vehicle sales and leasing process, from greeting customers to finalizing vehicle delivery.
  • Engage with customers to identify their needs and discuss available vehicle options.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product offerings, optional packages, and the latest automotive technologies.
  • Conduct professional demonstrations of new and used vehicles.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships to establish a loyal customer base.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and encourage referrals.
  • Bring a positive attitude and strong work ethic to the workplace every day.

Qualifications:

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Safe driving practices.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Authorization to work in the United States.
  • Sales experience in any industry is beneficial; training will be provided.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Positive demeanor, strong work ethic, and professional appearance.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate excellent follow-through.
  • Experience in hospitality or customer service is a plus.
  • Physical ability to perform job functions, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
  • Consent to a pre-employment background check and motor vehicle record screening.
  • Bilingual skills are advantageous.
