The Pharmacy Manager plays a crucial role, significantly impacting our consumers and clinic partners by advising them on our pharmaceutical care services and benefits.

This individual is accountable for the financial, clinical, and quality aspects of pharmacy services and will oversee the daily operations of a pharmacy, which includes dispensing prescription medications and providing personalized consultations with consumers.

Coaching, developing, and managing pharmacy staff is also a vital responsibility of this position. The manager will act as a talent steward, proactively seeking top talent for pharmacy roles.


Primary Responsibilities:
  • Create an exceptional experience for consumers and clinic partners while building strong relationships to proactively address their needs.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert to the clinical staff, regularly meeting with their team to discuss clinical outcomes.
  • Counsel and educate patients on medication usage, potential side effects, schedules, and address any personal inquiries.
  • Ensure compliance with policies and standards in accordance with state and federal regulations.
  • Provide wellness services such as immunizations and other preventive care.
  • Drive financial profitability and identify growth opportunities within the pharmacy.
  • Motivate, develop, and coach pharmacy staff to ensure they reach their full potential and deliver outstanding service.
  • Foster an engaging team environment that promotes compassion and embodies our core values and culture.
  • Proactively promote recruitment of top talent for pharmacy positions.
  • Review key performance indicators with pharmacy staff to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Conduct workforce and business planning to achieve operational excellence.
  • Build strong relationships with the community, stakeholders, and clinic partners to ensure all needs are met and promote pharmacy services.
  • Implement marketing strategies to promote all pharmacy offerings.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD.
  • Current pharmacist's license in the state of Ohio.
  • Current pharmacist's license in the state of Kentucky or willingness to obtain it.
  • Certified immunizer or willingness to become certified within three months of hire.
  • Willingness to complete LAI Training.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of pharmacy leadership experience.
