Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Controller to join our team at Integrity Resources. As a key member of our leadership team, the successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a system of accounting records in accordance with GAAP, providing oversight of the cost accounting and budgeting process, and supervising the accounting department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures.
  • Assist management in interpreting and utilizing managerial accounting information.
  • Supervise the accounting department and foster a positive, dynamic work environment that drives results and motivates associates to work collaboratively to meet goals.
  • Consistently role model business principles and constitution and ensure associates also exemplify the business principles and constitution.
  • Manage the monthly close process to provide timely and complete financial statements and supplemental analysis.
  • Supervise the execution of the annual audit.
  • Oversee preparation and tracking of annual budget and preparation of financial statements.
  • Coordinate the preparation of tax returns with outside CPA firm.
  • Oversee payroll preparation and reporting, including preparation of reports that must be filed with various local, state, and federal agencies.
  • Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close.
  • Assist with HR administration and other general administrative duties as needed.
  • Manage highly complex accounting functions and communications, producing high-quality and accurate work in critical deadline situations.
  • In collaboration with CFO, oversee accounting budget.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required.
  • Minimum of five (5) years related professional experience in both the public and private sectors.
  • Experience with small to mid-size companies a plus.
  • Some Oil and Gas industry experience preferred.
  • Minimum of four (4) years of leadership experience with proven ability to expertly select, develop, motivate, and lead a highly engaged and results-oriented team.
  • CPA required.
  • Public Accounting experience required (PWC, KPMG, EY, Deloitte highly preferred).
  • Expert knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and financial controls.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze financial data and prepare accurate and detailed accounting reports, statements, and projections.
  • Significant experience with auditors and tax preparers.
  • Advanced proficiency with automated accounting systems and Microsoft Office Applications, including Excel.
  • Highly effective professional communicator with both internal and external clients.
  • Ability to effectively manage and motivate teams and direct reports.
  • Ability to plan, organize, prioritize tasks, meet tight deadlines, and drive initiatives to completion.
  • Able to maintain professional composure at all times.
  • Maintains highest standards of confidentiality; deep knowledge of payroll and taxes.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy, and team-oriented environment requiring ability to produce high-quality outcomes and services under pressure and within tight deadlines.
  • Ability to handle multiple demands, shifting priorities, rapid change, and adapt responses and tactics to fit fluid circumstances.
  • Ability to quickly assimilate new knowledge and appropriately apply it on the job.
  • Strong interpersonal skills demonstrated by developing relationships and networks with coworkers, customers, and colleagues inside and outside the company.
  • Ability to work effectively as a team member; able to reach consensus and achieve team goals; and freely share information and knowledge with the team.
