Job Title: Assistant Controller

Stratacomm LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Controller to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in maintaining accounting controls, providing accurate financial information, and facilitating decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accounting controls and ensure accurate financial reporting
  • Provide financial information to management and stakeholders
  • Determine or maintain records of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, or other financial activities
  • Report directly to the CFO
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting and 7+ years of progressively responsible experience
  • CPA certification is strongly preferred
  • Thorough knowledge of GAAP and strong ability to present financial information to various audiences
  • Thorough knowledge of the advertising, PR, and communications industries with previous experience with an advertising and marketing firm
  • Proficient in the use of NetSuite accounting software and Microsoft Office software
  • Previous supervisory experience
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and initiative to take ownership of duties, support business development, marketing, and strategic endeavors
  • Critical thinker and problem solver who can advise management and contribute ideas to optimize firm productivity and achieve goals
  • Attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills
