Job Description

As a Field Engineer - Project Coordinator, you will play a key role in the success of our projects. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating with field labor to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and to the required quality standards.
  • Reviewing construction drawings and compiling project scope and quantities.
  • Resolving engineering issues and constraints through communication with design engineers, owner representatives, and fellow team members.
  • Monitoring field construction and ensuring compliance with construction plans and specifications.
  • Engaging in work sequence planning and preparing and monitoring work packages, including labor and cost estimates.
  • Tracking construction progress and updating status weekly.
  • Organizing project records in an effective document control system.
  • Estimating future work and performing additional tasks or projects as assigned.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Bluebeam, with intermediate skills in Excel.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a broad spectrum of people, including suppliers, field crews, designers, and owners.
  • Self-motivation, a strong work ethic, and the ability to take initiative.
  • Organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks on an ongoing basis.
  • Relentless commitment to teamwork and client satisfaction.
  • Interest in LEAN construction principles and the ability to travel to other regions to gain exposure to additional markets and industries.
  • Valid driver's license and mechanical aptitude.
