Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and innovative partner marketing professional to enhance our AMER Partner Marketing Team. The Splunk partner ecosystem plays a vital role in our operations, and this marketing position offers a range of exciting opportunities. You will be responsible for spearheading collaborative, long-term cloud initiatives with key partners in the AMER region, as well as designing and executing demand generation strategies in conjunction with our partners and regional teams to establish standardized processes, drive revenue, and engage our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop creative strategies to generate valuable opportunities for our partners and their clientele.
  • Plan, create, and implement integrated marketing campaigns with strategic partners, including VARs, MSPs, and distributors, that support regional operations across AMER (US, Canada, Latin America).
  • Build and nurture relationships with marketing teams at partner organizations, serving as the primary contact for marketing collaboration in AMER.
  • Act as an advocate for partners, focusing on enhancing the value delivered to Splunk and its customers through these partnerships.
  • Oversee MDF budget management and utilization in collaboration with field marketing and partner managers to ensure alignment with AMER business objectives.
  • Support the AMER partner enablement initiatives to expand our partner ecosystem in partnership with the AMER partner team.
  • Provide regular updates on key metrics, ROI, and the effectiveness of strategic partner campaigns to assess return on investment and prioritize resources. Continuously analyze program performance to refine strategies.
  • Collaborate with demand generation teams to engage partners in revenue-generating activities and ensure the availability of compelling digital marketing materials for the ecosystem.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in partner marketing and communications.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute marketing strategies in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong vision and leadership skills to implement multi-dimensional AMER partner marketing plans with a growth-oriented mindset.
  • Confidence to thrive in a dynamic, high-pressure, and high-visibility role.
  • Experience in ensuring campaign success, including planning, measuring, and adjusting go-to-market tactics to achieve desired business outcomes in AMER.
  • Familiarity with working alongside VARs, MSPs, and distribution partners is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of managing MDF and Contra funding.
  • Exceptional communication (both written and verbal), reporting, and presentation skills.
  • Experience engaging with partners and colleagues in an international environment.
  • Ability to influence, motivate, and collaborate in a highly cross-functional matrix environment to drive results-oriented plans and execution.
  • Comprehensive understanding of various marketing activities, subject areas, and tactics, including field marketing, digital marketing, and experiential events.
  • Highly motivated self-starter capable of building and launching programs within budget while effectively managing multiple concurrent timelines.
