Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Traffic Project Engineer to join our team at HNTB. As a key member of our engineering group, you will be responsible for planning and distributing discipline-specific work, adhering to project schedules and budgets, and collaborating with clients and teaming partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and distribute discipline-specific work
  • Adhere to project schedules and budgets
  • Collaborate with clients and teaming partners
  • Assist with marketing responsibilities, including proposal generation
  • Develop scope of work and level of effort for projects and/or assignments
  • Oversee completeness and accuracy of project team's work
  • Guide and mentor team to overall project objectives
  • Coordinate technical aspects of project with client counterpart and teaming partners
  • Work closely with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 6 years of relevant experience, or
  • Master's degree in Engineering and 5 years of relevant experience, or
  • PhD in Engineering and 4 years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Engineering
  • 8 years of relevant experience
  • Professional Engineer (PE) certification
  • Experience in industry standard analysis tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
