About the Role

We're seeking a skilled Traffic Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for preparing engineering calculations, technical reports, and concept/construction drawings. You'll also oversee the development of traffic studies and permitting for both internal and external projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, and concept/construction drawings
  • Oversee the development of traffic studies and permitting for both internal and external projects
  • Analyze traffic data, including traffic volumes, crash data, active transportation user data, etc.
  • Perform intersection and roadway analysis utilizing Synchro and SimTraffic
  • Monitor and optimize existing signal systems
  • Oversee construction administration for traffic signal design projects
Requirements

We're looking for a candidate with a Civil Engineering Bachelor's Degree and at least 3 years of experience in Traffic or Transportation Engineering. A Professional Engineer (PE) License is required, or the ability to obtain within a year. PTOE and IMSA certifications are a plus, but not required.

We value strong communication skills and experience working with state or federal transportation authorities. Proficiency in engineering software such as Synchro / SimTraffic and MicroStation or AutoCAD is also a plus.
