Job Title: Business Development and Capture Manager

Job Summary: Alcor is seeking a highly skilled Business Development and Capture Manager to lead our pursuit of new business opportunities, particularly in government and large-scale corporate sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Opportunity Identification: Identify and qualify new business opportunities through market research, networking, and relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Capture Strategy Development: Develop and implement capture strategies for targeted opportunities to maximize the company's chances of winning.
  • Proposal Management: Assist in proposal development, working closely with the proposal manager.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including potential clients, partners, and industry influencers.
  • Competitive Analysis: Conduct competitive analysis to understand the strengths and weaknesses of competitors and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations with potential clients and partners to finalize contract terms and secure agreements.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree or certifications (e.g., PMP, CPP) preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 5+ years of experience in business development, capture management, or related fields, with a proven track record of successful contract wins.

Skills Set Required:

  • Strong knowledge: Capture management processes, proposal development, and government contracting regulations (if applicable).
  • Excellent communication: Negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability: Develop and execute strategic plans.
  • Strong analytical: Problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work: Effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Existing relationships: With key stakeholders or decision-makers in relevant markets.
  • Knowledge of tools: Related to capture management.
