Position Overview

The Front Desk Supervisor plays a crucial role in supporting the Front Desk Managers to ensure seamless operations at the front desk. This position is essential in providing attentive, genuine, and personalized service, transforming guest interactions into memorable experiences. The Front Desk Supervisor is responsible for consistently meeting and exceeding service standards and guest satisfaction goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Exhibit professionalism in all job-related activities.
  • Ensure guests receive a warm welcome and appropriate assistance upon arrival.
  • Uphold Fairmont standards and procedures through effective training and performance monitoring.
  • Assist in managing staffing levels to align with business needs.
  • Adhere to policies for processing guest transactions, including credit cards and reservations.
  • Foster positive colleague relations through open communication and mutual respect.
  • Provide leadership support in the absence of the Front Desk Manager.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
  • At least 2 years of experience in Front Desk operations.
  • Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Strong passion for guest service and effective training abilities.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in Windows XP and MS Office.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including holidays and weekends as required.
  • Visa Requirements: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and walk intermittently.
  • Capability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs at shoulder height regularly.
  • Occasional ability to push/pull up to 50 lbs.
  • Frequent simple grasping, fine manipulation, and repetitive movements; occasional overhead reaching.
