Overview:

The Springhill Suites Seattle Downtown/South Lake Union, under the management of Moody National Hospitality Management, is seeking a dedicated Front Desk Associate to enhance our team. Role Summary:

The Front Desk Associate is responsible for efficiently managing guest check-ins and check-outs, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Execute front desk operations related to guest arrivals and departures in alignment with established protocols; manage cash and credit transactions accurately.
  2. Address guest inquiries, concerns, and issues promptly and courteously; resolve complaints effectively or escalate to appropriate departments as needed.
  3. Pre-register guests, manage reservation blocks, and process same-day bookings in accordance with hotel pricing structures and promotional strategies.
  4. Maintain accurate logs and reports as directed by management.
  5. Facilitate alternative accommodations for guests when necessary, adhering to company procedures.
  6. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Strong understanding of relevant company policies, procedures, and services; general awareness of other hotel departments.

Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

Intermediate proficiency in front desk management systems.

Fluency in English is required; proficiency in a second language is a plus.

Excellent time management and multitasking abilities.

Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused mindset.

Outstanding organizational and planning capabilities.

Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.

Commitment to adhering to corporate standards and procedures.

Experience and Education:

High School diploma or equivalent work experience.

A minimum of 1 year of experience in a front desk or customer service role.

Compliance with annual training requirements as assigned by management.

Any additional training as mandated by the supervisor.

Work Environment:

This position operates in a professional office setting, utilizing standard office equipment such as computers, telephones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.

This is a full-time role, with occasional overtime required. Work schedules may vary, and the position is primarily indoors.
