This role is essential for overseeing front desk activities, ensuring a seamless experience for guests during check-in and check-out. Responsibilities include managing reservations with professionalism and efficiency, while adhering to CSM Corporation's high standards of service quality to enhance guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise front desk staff to guarantee guest satisfaction and foster positive employee relations.
  • Ensure timely responses to guest inquiries and concerns, focusing on service recovery when necessary.
  • Train and mentor staff in exemplary guest service practices.
  • Hold team members accountable for anticipating guest needs and exceeding expectations.
  • Process check-ins, check-outs, billing verifications, and special requests with accuracy.
  • Provide guests with information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services.
  • Contribute to revenue goals by creating and implementing innovative service programs aimed at boosting guest satisfaction.
  • Participate in the hiring, coaching, and development of front office personnel.
  • Evaluate staff performance and provide coaching to meet service standards.
  • Collaborate with management on disciplinary actions and termination decisions.
  • Motivate team members through goal setting, feedback, and recognition.
  • Ensure completion of required training for all department employees and maintain training records.
  • Analyze quality issues, identify training needs, and suggest improvements to enhance results.
  • Promote a collaborative and professional work environment.
  • Assist in effective labor management through appropriate scheduling and adjustments based on operational needs.
  • Utilize effective selling techniques to maximize room revenue.
  • Monitor room availability and adhere to booking policies and procedures.
  • Drive sales by upselling rooms and amenities.
  • Attend departmental meetings to ensure effective communication and planning.

Qualifications:

2+ years of guest service experience, preferably in hospitality. Basic computer skills and excellent verbal communication are essential. Attention to detail and a customer-focused mindset are crucial for success in a fast-paced environment.

Education:

A high school diploma or equivalent is required; some college education or a degree is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 pounds occasionally.
