About the Role:

We're seeking an experienced Senior Sales Leader to join our team and drive business growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing a strategic sales plan that expands our customer base and strengthens our market presence.

Salary:$160,000 - $200,000 per year

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to drive business growth and expand customer base
  • Lead a sales team to achieve increased sales and profit goals through effective business development and strong relationships with new and existing customers
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify emerging markets and market shifts, and develop strategies to capitalize on them
  • Work closely with marketing and operations to ensure continued on-target development of product portfolio
  • Deliver engaging presentations to current and prospective customers, negotiate sales agreements, and represent OSF at trade events
  • Provide training and development opportunities to support the long-term growth of reporting team members

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher; business and marketing majors preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in produce or related sales with expertise in food service and retail channels
  • 5+ years of experience leading sales teams, marketing, logistics, and contract administration in the perishable food industry
  • Strong understanding of contemporary food trends and the ability to develop creative sales opportunities
  • Demonstrated sales success and a proven track record of meeting revenue targets
  • Experience with 12-month rolling forecasting and team expansion
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with data analysis and reporting
  • Ability to travel as needed
