Employment Opportunity
Inter-Con is actively seeking driven individuals to fill the pivotal role of Security Operations Officer. In this capacity, you will become an integral member of an elite team of security professionals tasked with safeguarding some of our nation's most vital assets. You will contribute to a comprehensive security strategy designed to protect both domestic and visiting diplomats across various locations in the United States.

Location: Washington, DC

Qualifications
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must be a citizen of the United States
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret clearance
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English
  • Possession of a valid non-provisional United States driver's license
To qualify for this opportunity, candidates must meet at least one of the following criteria (All experience will be verified through a background check):
  • One year of armed commercial security experience
  • Five years of unarmed commercial security experience
  • Three years of active military service at an E4 rank or higher with an honorable discharge
  • One year of law enforcement experience, excluding academy training
  • Bachelor's degree in any field (must be obtained in the U.S. or have U.S. equivalency)
  • Associate's degree in criminal justice plus one year of commercial security experience
Work Environment and Schedule

• Job operates in client sites, which may be indoors or outdoors.

• Position requires prolonged standing and walking as part of daily security duties.

• Open availability for nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.

• Must maintain flexibility regarding job assignments and locations.

• Time flexibility is essential based on company needs.
