Job Summary

Renown Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supervisor to lead our Hospital Care Management Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the department, ensuring that our patients receive the highest level of care and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage a team of care coordinators and case managers to ensure that patients receive timely and effective care.
  • Develop and implement departmental policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with hospital leadership and other departments to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Monitor and analyze departmental performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
  • Provide training and development opportunities to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure that our patients receive the highest level of care and service.
Requirements
  • Two years of experience in a care coordination or case management setting, preferably in a hospital environment.
  • Leadership experience and ability to manage a team.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, utilization management, and case management principles and methodology.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and external case managers.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
  • Current AHA BLS certification and ability to obtain and maintain State of Nevada Registered Nurse licensure.
Preferred Qualifications
  • National certification in Case Management (CCM, ACM, CPHQ).
  • Experience with electronic medical records and other healthcare software systems.
  • Knowledge of government, county, private, and workers compensation funding sources.
