Position Overview

The Community Marketing Agent serves as a key representative for Wyndham Destinations, collaborating with well-known local attractions such as shopping centers and amusement parks. This role involves participating in events like trade shows, festivals, and conferences to engage with the public as a brand ambassador. In this sales-oriented position, you will conduct face-to-face interactions with potential customers, providing insights into the vacation club experience and encouraging them to attend our acclaimed vacation ownership presentations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a professional and positive brand ambassador for Wyndham Destinations.
  • Welcome and motivate prospective customers to participate in a sales-preview tour.
  • Evaluate and qualify potential customers in accordance with company standards.
  • Schedule sales-tour appointments and secure necessary deposits.
Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Engaging with prospective customers to encourage attendance at a sales presentation while adhering to all company policies and performance standards (80% of the time).
  • Participating in scheduled training sessions and departmental meetings, staying updated on marketing materials and industry trends, and reviewing performance goals regularly (20%).
Travel Requirements

No travel is required beyond the local area.

Qualifications

While sales and/or marketing experience is preferred, it is not mandatory. Candidates must meet production standards.

Education
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
Training Requirements
  • No specific training is required.
Skills and Knowledge
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
Technical Proficiency
  • Competence in MS Excel, MS Word, and general computer and smart device usage.
Experience
  • 1 to 3 years of sales and/or marketing experience is preferred, but not required. Equivalent experience may be accepted in lieu of educational requirements.

Compensation
The hourly wage for this position is $16.00.
