Key Responsibilities:

  • Account Management: Accurately input policy updates and account information, ensuring seamless communication with clients, producers, and carrier underwriters.
  • Marketing and Quoting: Responsible for the marketing and quoting process for new business and account renewals, identifying and compiling information regarding account renewals.
  • Communication: Consistently and timely communicate with agency clients and carrier representatives, providing expert advice and guidance on commercial insurance coverage and rating.

Requirements:

  • Insurance License: Property & Casualty Insurance license required.
  • Experience: Minimum 3-5 years independent agency or retail broker experience, with a strong technical knowledge of commercial lines coverage and rating.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with various carriers and working directly with their underwriters, utilizing online rating software and various insurance carrier online systems, and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
