We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Patient Services Coordinator to join our team at the MD Anderson Center. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our patient services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate patient scheduling and appointments, ensuring timely and efficient service delivery.
  • Interpret and coordinate physicians' orders, scheduling diagnostic tests, procedures, and treatments as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including demographic, financial, and insurance information.
  • Collect co-payments and process patient accounts in a timely and secure manner.
  • Assist in maintaining a safe and clean environment for patients, staff, and visitors, adhering to universal precautions and principles of asepsis.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of our patient services.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; three years of relevant work experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
