The Assistant Culinary Manager plays a vital role in executing key kitchen operations – crafting delightful meals that cater to the tastes and preferences of our residents using diverse culinary techniques.


Work Schedule:
Thursday to Monday

10:00 AM - 7:30 PM

Your Responsibilities:
- Prepare and present meals with attention to detail
- Maintain a structured environment and oversee kitchen operations in the absence of the Culinary Services Director.
- Manage food inventory efficiently and organize workstations with necessary supplies prior to meal service.
- Implement portion control and reduce waste to adhere to budgetary guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with all documentation requirements, including time/temperature logs and inventory records.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Assist in serving meals to residents.
- Mentor and train new kitchen staff.
- Potential for promotion to Culinary Services Director.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a culinary role, preferably as a Cook or Line/Prep Cook.
- Experience in a supervisory role is preferred.
- Knowledge of food inventory management is advantageous.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Proven experience in food preparation and production.
- Ability to meet all health and safety regulations.
- Willingness to undergo a 2-step TB test.
