Position Overview:

The Senior Director of Commercial Analytics will spearhead the analytics efforts for the oncology sector. This critical role will be essential in shaping the commercial analytics framework and will drive insights that facilitate the successful market introduction of relacorilant in oncology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive secondary data analytics strategy to:
    • Deliver insights into the patient journey, including demographics of patients and healthcare providers, treatment pathways, and market access dynamics.
    • Guide field-force strategies, including sizing and targeting initiatives.
  • Establish a longitudinal claims analysis framework to evaluate:
    • Transitions and choices in treatment across various therapy lines.
    • Metrics on treatment persistence, compliance, payer mix, and financial impacts on patients.
  • Identify and integrate data sources that will support the launch in ovarian cancer.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and internal teams to:
    • Design and develop the oncology business intelligence environment.
    • Consolidate data from diverse sources, including specialty pharmacies, sales data, secondary data, customer relationship management systems, laboratory data, and electronic medical records.
  • Work alongside field leadership to:
    • Determine the optimal size and structure of the field force.
    • Finalize territory assignments.
    • Create a competitive incentive compensation framework to ensure effective commercialization.
  • Lead the creation and enhancement of the commercial reporting ecosystem:
    • Engage with cross-functional teams to outline and prioritize requirements for the reporting ecosystem.
    • Partner with technology teams to select and implement suitable tools and platforms for ecosystem development.
  • Recruit, manage, and train a team aligned with achieving key milestones to support product launch.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated success in leading sales and marketing analytics teams, with extensive experience utilizing various pharmaceutical data sources, including IQVIA, Symphony, and Komodo.
  • Strong knowledge of Databricks, Tableau, and other Business Intelligence tools, along with experience in building data warehouse infrastructure.
  • Adept at translating complex data insights into clear, actionable recommendations for stakeholders.
  • Possess a natural curiosity and problem-solving mindset, focused on enhancing operational efficiency and addressing significant business challenges.
  • Self-driven team player with proven leadership skills, capable of cultivating high-performing teams.
  • Ability to provide strategic and tactical guidance to stakeholders, employing a consultative approach to understand their needs and tailor solutions accordingly.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Over 10 years of relevant experience in commercial analytics and forecasting, with increasing levels of responsibility.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical sector.
  • Proven track record in building and leading teams.

The compensation range for this position is expected to be between $227,000 and $267,100, with the final offer dependent on various legitimate factors, including geographic location, relevant knowledge, skills, experience, and education.
