About Tacoma Community College

Tacoma Community College (TCC) is deeply rooted in the traditional lands of the Puyallup Tribe, who have been the stewards of this area since time immemorial.

Our institution is dedicated to amplifying the voices and experiences of Indigenous peoples and is committed to fostering an inclusive environment that supports equity and diversity.

TCC stands firmly with the Black Lives Matter movement and is actively working towards becoming an anti-racist organization.

We are critically assessing our practices to eliminate racism in all forms and are focused on enhancing support for historically marginalized groups, including Black, Indigenous, and people of color, Dreamers, justice-involved individuals, immigrants and refugees, Veterans, individuals with disabilities, and the LGBTQ+ community.

Since its inception in 1965, TCC has provided accessible, high-quality education to over 500,000 individuals, serving a diverse student body of approximately 11,000 annually.
