Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front Desk Supervisor to join our team at Hilton Garden Inn 52nd Street. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, supervising front desk operations, and ensuring that our hotel meets the highest standards of quality and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Service
    • Provide warm and welcoming service to guests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
    • Respond to guest inquiries and resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Front Desk Operations
    • Supervise and coordinate front desk activities, including check-in, check-out, and room assignments.
    • Manage front desk staff, providing guidance, training, and feedback to ensure excellent service delivery.
  • Quality and Sustainability
    • Ensure that all front desk operations are conducted in accordance with established quality and sustainability standards.
    • Monitor and report on guest satisfaction scores, making recommendations for improvement.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Perform bookkeeping activities, including balancing accounts and conducting audits.
    • Make and confirm reservations, as well as process guest payments and handle cash transactions.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as hospitality or business.
  • Experience
    • 1-3 years of experience in a front desk or customer service role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.
  • Certifications
    • New York City Fire Safety Director Certification, preferred.
Work Environment

This is a fast-paced and dynamic environment that requires flexibility and adaptability. The successful candidate will be able to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
