Job ResponsibilitiesJob sites include commercial construction projects of various sizes.
Under the general supervision of a designated supervisor, install, maintain, and repair heating, plumbing, and gas piping systems.
Repair, install, and maintain plumbing, hydronic piping, and gas piping.
Assemble and install piping, valves, and fitting.
Requirements- 5-10 years of experience with commercial mechanical projects.
- Strong communication skills.
- Knowledge of commercial HVAC systems.
- Ability to read, understand, and work from drawings, specifications, and schematics.
- Understands written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Attendance, reliability, dependability, and flexibility.
- Ability to interact with multiple personality types while ensuring a positive outcome.
- Knowledge of appropriate tools and equipment to install piping and plumbing systems.
- Knowledge of welding, brazing, threading, and other plumbing and piping techniques.
- Maintain and service the tools and equipment necessary to install plumbing and piping systems.
- Sufficient knowledge of pipe hanging and support installations.
- Have sufficient knowledge of safe working practices and maintain and support company safety programs and attend company safety training.
