Foreman Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced construction foreman to oversee operations and manage workers at our construction sites in the DMV area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to make quick decisions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure Safety Protocols: Oversee and enforce safety rules at all sites to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Project Coordination: Produce work schedules, monitor crew attendance, and coordinate daily tasks according to priorities and plans.
  • Team Management: Delegate responsibilities, recruit, hire, mentor, manage, and train employees and contractors.
  • Quality and Budget Control: Develop and oversee quality standards, monitor project budgets, and resolve conflicts or miscommunication on-site.
  • Reporting and Communication: Report project status regularly to supervisors, site engineers, and officials.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • US Citizens and Green Card Holders only, with the ability to pass security clearance.
  • 4+ years' experience as a construction foreman, with extensive knowledge of construction best practices, equipment maintenance, and OSH guidelines.
  • Understanding of electrical and hydraulic systems, ability to read drawings, plans, and blueprints, and excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • Fluency in English; Spanish is a plus.
