Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a subject matter expert to define and assess operational needs, delivering technical specifications to fulfill approved customer requirements for new equipment and methodologies addressing potential signals related to radar, electronic countermeasures (ECM), and communication signals.
  • Provide senior-level guidance and direction to a mission support team in executing projects primarily focused on signal-related activities. Oversee the development, deployment, and documentation of recordings from new or previously unexploited signal data, including instrumentation and communications.
  • Deliver analytical and operational support for unique, one-of-a-kind tactical and strategic mission intelligence communications systems. Support various analytical products and functions, including operational scenarios, deployment scenario development, site assessments, and vulnerability evaluations.
  • Identify mission vulnerability targets through the analysis of complex system integration requirements and develop multiple scenarios to address all mission threats. Conduct mission planning and projections to anticipate future resource needs to counter identified threats.
  • Prepare comprehensive studies, reports, and presentations.
  • Develop documentation to support objectives aligned with external agencies and INSCOM Commanders.
  • Draft and review Memorandum of Agreements (MOAs).
  • Translate analytical findings into effective presentations.
  • Present findings to senior officials and counterparts from various organizations.
  • Analyze the operational availability of strategic and tactical intelligence communications assets, creating briefing reports that provide a clear assessment of each system's availability.
  • Maintain mission status on assigned tactical and strategic systems.
  • Support INSCOM TROJAN systems on-site as required.
  • Demonstrate the ability to maneuver in confined spaces and lift up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Business, History, Political Science, Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or twelve (12) years of equivalent technical experience with TROJAN communications systems.
  • Experience working at higher-level staff positions, preferably at the Division level or equivalent.
  • Ability to maneuver in confined spaces and lift 50 lbs.
  • Proven experience at higher-level staff positions, preferably at the Division level or equivalent, with the capability to research, analyze, and recommend solutions to non-standard problems.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of TROJAN system principles, concepts, and methodologies, along with an understanding of their support for military operations.
  • Familiarity with emerging intelligence products, including wireless and cellular communications.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interface and represent the organization with senior officials and counterparts from other organizations.
  • Knowledgeable about methods for exploiting foreign military communications and non-communications.
  • Understanding of tactical and strategic organizations equipped with TROJAN systems, their missions, and functions.
  • Fluency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
  • Skilled in delivering presentations.
  • Must be a US Citizen with a Final Top-Secret Clearance based on a TIER 5 Background Investigation, and a favorable eligibility determination for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) in accordance with ICD 704. Some positions may require a Counterintelligence (CI) Scope Polygraph, particularly those necessitating access to TDN2.
