We are seeking a Business Development Representative to join our team at Demco, Inc. This is an excellent opportunity to work with K-12 education markets and drive sales growth. As a remote-based role, you will identify new sales opportunities, build relationships with key decision-makers, and develop leads for evolving learning environments.

About the Role:

  • Identify New Sales Opportunities: Research and leverage industry tools to discover potential leads within K-12 school districts and public libraries.
  • Connect with Key Decision-Makers: Build relationships with Superintendents, Principals, Architects, Designers, Owners Representatives, Library Directors, and other stakeholders to understand their needs and challenges.
  • Develop Sales Leads: Cultivate opportunities for evolving learning environments (furniture, supplies, equipment, etc.) and assess client requirements.
  • Transition Leads to Internal Sales Team: Once opportunities are developed, partner with the internal sales team for closing and remain involved by providing support and guidance as needed throughout the project.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in a hunting sales role, with a proven track record of success
  • Strong relationships and experience working with K-12 education markets
  • Familiarity with learning environments, furniture, and supplies
  • Self-starter with the ability to work remotely and manage your own time
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment

Compensation: $80,000 - $110,000 per year, plus a variable commission plan that pays up to $25,000 at quota. Comprehensive benefits package included.
