Position Overview:

At Raytheon Technologies, we are at the forefront of aerospace innovation, dedicated to redefining the future of technology in the industry. We are seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Specialist to become an integral part of our Business Intelligence & Digital Transformation team within the Aerostructures division. This role will be based onsite and involves collaboration with a team of experts in advanced data analytics, process automation, and business applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop innovative methodologies for gathering, storing, and analyzing data, including machine learning techniques, to enhance operational performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide data, dashboards, and insightful analyses that support strategic business decisions.
  • Design and visualize key performance indicators to guide effective business management.
  • Create business applications and continuous improvement tools to streamline data collection and automate processes, aligning with lean methodologies.
  • Identify trends and opportunities for operational enhancements, preparing presentations to communicate findings that influence strategic direction.
  • Manage and analyze large datasets, documenting processes and insights for clarity and reproducibility.
  • Engage regularly with internal stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of digital solutions.
  • Be open to travel up to 10%, both domestically and internationally.

Required Qualifications:

  • A degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) is typically required, along with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; an advanced degree may substitute for some experience.
  • U.S. Person status as defined by applicable regulations.
  • Proficiency with tools such as Microsoft Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint, Alteryx, Python, DAX, Power Query M, SQL, VBA, SAP, and TeamCenter.
  • Experience in working with large datasets to derive actionable insights.
  • Background in Manufacturing, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, or Engineering.
  • Proven experience in developing business applications and intelligence reports.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, and Word.
  • Excellent communication skills with a focus on process orientation and results achievement.
  • Experience within the Aerospace sector.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and PLM software.
  • Knowledge of Lean principles, continuous improvement, or Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Solid project management capabilities.
