Position Overview

The Regional Vice President is accountable for the strategic direction, implementation, and ongoing expansion of a commercial sales initiative across all retail formats within Claire's stores. This role involves leading the field team to achieve financial objectives while ensuring operational efficiency and a motivated workforce.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive operations strategy that aligns with short, medium, and long-term business goals, ensuring the achievement of both operational and financial targets.
  • Drive significant improvements in business performance by enhancing people, processes, and operational systems.
  • Transform existing frameworks to elevate operational excellence, positioning Claire's as a leader in market standards, quality, innovation, and customer experience.
  • Contribute to the broader business agenda and engage in critical decision-making that influences all organizational aspects and employee welfare.
  • Build and nurture a high-performing team across various functions including store operations, HR, customer service, property management, loss prevention, and health and safety.
  • Provide robust strategic and operational leadership to the Regional Manager/District Manager team, fostering talent development and high productivity.
  • Implement industry best practices at all levels, unifying team members around the common goal of delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Maximize EBITDA through effective sales strategies and cost management.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards in all operations.
  • Collaborate with support functions to leverage every opportunity for business growth.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of senior-level multi-store management experience or equivalent.
  • Proven ability to lead, supervise, and inspire associates at both store and district management levels.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong mathematical skills and reading comprehension.
  • Proficient in analyzing sales reports and strategic problem-solving.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift weights up to 75 lbs.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
