Position Summary

We are looking for a motivated individual who is passionate about driving success for both our customers and employees, while identifying opportunities to expand our market presence in the Central US region. The Regional Sales Operations Leader will oversee all operational activities within our sales branch, focusing on two main objectives: establishing and nurturing strategic business partnerships in the region, and ensuring our team effectively implements targeted sales strategies to enhance profit margins and maximize customer benefits from our offerings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve or surpass assigned sales revenue and gross profit goals through effective management of Inside and Outside Sales Representatives.
  • Exhibit strong leadership by guiding the sales team in developing and managing client relationships, providing innovative product/service solutions, and addressing client-related challenges.
  • Enhance supplier relationships to introduce new and innovative options that meet customer needs.
  • Understand key accounts and formulate strategies to improve service levels for these clients.
  • Engage in networking to elevate the branch's visibility and reputation, highlighting our superior service compared to competitors.
  • Ensure all branch personnel are well-informed about new product information, procedures, customer requirements, and company updates.
  • Analyze the competitive landscape within the designated territory and report on market trends and penetration.
  • Identify training needs and coordinate training sessions to equip employees with the necessary skills and tools for exceptional service delivery.
  • Foster a positive workplace culture that reinforces behaviors conducive to business and customer success.
  • Document and manage employee performance issues, providing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Regularly provide status updates to stakeholders as requested.

Qualifications

Preferred Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years in a leadership role within a sales environment, demonstrating a proven track record of revenue growth.
  • Experience with structured commission plans based on sales, revenue, and profit targets.
  • Proficient in utilizing desktop technology and proprietary systems relevant to sales operations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to derive insights from operational and financial data.
  • Effective prioritization and staffing strategies to ensure high customer satisfaction.
