Position Overview:
In the Wärtsilä Energy - ES&O Lifecycle Management division, we are seeking an Agreement Manager to support the expanding Energy Storage sector in North America.

This role will report to the Senior Agreement Manager and is based in the United States.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the commercial and overall performance of assigned agreements and warranty contracts, including renewals and upselling.
  • Ensure operational and technical performance of customer battery energy storage systems, identifying and addressing customer challenges with effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with Expertise Centres and Business Lines to identify and implement performance enhancement strategies.
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and timely collection of receivables.

Main Duties:

  • Execute contracts in accordance with Wärtsilä Services guidelines and general management practices.
  • Implement action plans and processes for contract management within the designated area.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction and ensure necessary actions are taken.
  • Plan, budget, and manage results within the contract scope.
  • Optimize assets associated with the contract, including inventories and receivables.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure quality in contract execution.
  • Review and report on financial, operational, and technical performance, taking corrective actions as needed.
  • Maintain customer-related data in CRM systems.
  • Travel may be required for customer site visits.

Qualifications:
A bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, economics, or a related field is essential. Candidates should have a minimum of five years of experience in contract management and administration, ideally within the energy generation sector, although experience from other industries will also be considered.

Proven expertise in managing, drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex agreements is required, along with a solid understanding of legal and contractual regulations governing projects.
