Position: Renewable Energy Battery Specialist
We are seeking dedicated professionals ready to travel to remote energy generation sites (Solar/Wind) where battery storage systems are being implemented. The role involves diagnosing issues, performing repairs, testing, and commissioning large-scale battery storage solutions. Comprehensive training will be provided. The work primarily focuses on low voltage connections and/or computer interface and control systems.
Compensation for Renewable Energy Battery Specialist:
Salary: $35.00 per hour, commensurate with experience
Qualifications for Renewable Energy Battery Specialist:
- OSHA - 10 certification is advantageous
- Experience with electrical systems and controls is beneficial
- Familiarity with various multimeter models is a plus
- Willingness to travel for extended periods and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to follow instructions, learn, and develop within the role
- Commitment to safety protocols, including the use of a 40 cal arc flash suit when necessary
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Effective time management skills; punctuality is essential
- Clean background with no pending legal issues
- Ability to pass drug and alcohol testing upon hire and randomly thereafter
- Valid Driver's License required
- Non-US Citizens must possess a valid work visa or green card
Work Environment for Renewable Energy Battery Specialist:
Our company specializes in maintenance and repair services for the power generation sector, focusing on field service at customer locations (Wind and Solar farms). Our field technicians are trained and required to maintain certifications for safe operations with stored energy (large grid-scale batteries).
Due to significant growth and future opportunities, we are looking for detail-oriented, organized, and highly motivated individuals to support various customer contracts, all of which are field-based with varying durations.
