Your Role

We are currently seeking a skilled and driven Project Engineer specializing in Civil/Site Design. This role is essential in managing significant projects, engaging with clients and regulatory bodies, and collaborating effectively within a team environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Execute comprehensive civil engineering design tasks, including:
- Layout and geometry
- Grading and drainage
- Paving and erosion control
- Water and sewer systems

2. Prepare detailed submission packages, including:
- Supporting calculations
- Cost estimates
- Project timelines

3. Develop design concepts through various visual formats such as sketches and electronic models.

4. Utilize advanced technologies to create three-dimensional models of civil systems and provide guidance to junior engineers and designers.

5. Draft and revise documentation across various civil phases, including site plans and detailed specifications.

6. Lead project coordination meetings with internal teams and external stakeholders, including consultants and contractors.

7. Participate in client meetings to discuss project requirements and conduct value analysis and cost estimation.

8. Assist the Project Manager in defining and managing project scope, budget, staffing, and schedules.

9. Oversee the preparation and integration of project specifications with construction documents.

10. Conduct quality assurance and quality control on assigned projects.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in civil engineering and site design.
- Registration as a Professional Engineer in the relevant jurisdiction or the ability to obtain it within a specified timeframe.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software, including AutoCAD, Civil3D, and hydraulic design tools.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
- A proven track record of managing client relationships and contributing to business development efforts.

Work Environment

This position typically involves working in an office setting with extended periods of computer use. Fieldwork may occasionally require exposure to various weather conditions.
