About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team at Jobot. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction projects from initiation to completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage comprehensive project plans and timelines, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Coordinate and manage all project resources, including subcontractors, materials, and equipment.
  • Ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to all relevant safety standards and building codes.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and monitor progress, ensuring that work is proceeding on schedule and to specification.
  • Manage project budgets, including tracking expenses and forecasting costs.
  • Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication and successful project delivery.
  • Resolve any issues or delays that may impact project timelines or budgets.
  • Implement and manage quality control processes, ensuring that all work meets or exceeds standards.
  • Prepare and present regular project reports and updates to senior management and stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in project management within the construction industry.
  • Demonstrable experience in managing the construction of high-end custom homes.
  • Strong knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods.
  • Expertise in project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Excellent ability to plan and coordinate projects, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong financial and budgeting skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to solve problems and make decisions, as well as think strategically and innovatively.
  • A strong commitment to safety and quality control.
  • PMP or equivalent certification would be considered an asset.
