Room Quality Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:
- Adheres to all policies, procedures, service standards, and communication protocols.
- Maintains professional appearance and uniform standards.
- Supervises staff in designated areas to guarantee timely completion of assignments.
- Encourages best practices and provides coaching to team members as needed, addressing areas for improvement.
- Conducts individual coaching sessions to clarify responsibilities and ensure performance meets expectations.
- Trains all new employees, including temporary and seasonal staff, to meet operational demands.
- After staff shadowing, evaluates performance to ensure adherence to standards and retrains as necessary.
- Holds team members accountable for their daily responsibilities and communicates issues to management as they arise.
- Performs daily inspections of assigned areas to confirm all tasks are completed, including lock-offs, VIP presentations, and public spaces, while reporting maintenance concerns.
- Provides timely feedback to staff based on daily inspections, highlighting both strengths and areas for improvement.
- Manages and secures assigned equipment and supplies, ensuring proper maintenance.
- Engages in cleaning duties as required, regardless of the season.
- Ensures public areas and huts are kept tidy and free from debris.
- Maintains organized records for the assigned area and staff, sharing relevant information with management.
- Executes deep cleaning and general cleaning tasks in designated areas.
- Restocks housekeeping supplies at the end of each shift.
- Cleans communal areas following morning briefings as per the rotation schedule.
- Assists management with monthly inventory checks of linens.
- Reviews the daily Do Not Disturb list and ensures proper communication with dispatch.
- Performs additional duties as assigned by management.
- Possession of a valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven ability to lead a team.
- Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Physical capability to lift or carry up to 50 pounds and perform various physical tasks for extended periods.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Comprehensive understanding of housekeeping operations.
- At least one year of housekeeping experience in a full-service hotel or resort setting.
- Previous experience in a supervisory or inspection role is preferred.
- Availability to work various shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
