Aerospace Systems Manager

Blue Origin is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Aerospace Systems Manager to join our team. As a key member of our New Glenn program, you will be responsible for the development and operations of our single-configuration, heavy-lift orbital launch vehicle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of our launch vehicle's separation systems, including pneumatic systems, actuation systems, and ordnance-based separation systems.
- Collaborate with our Sr. Director of Customer & Payload Accommodations to implement the design, development, test, and production of our separation systems scope.
- Manage a team of engineers and technicians to ensure the successful execution of our program.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design drawings and specifications.
- Work closely with our internal organizations and suppliers to deliver qualified hardware and systems.
Requirements:
- B.S. in an aerospace, mechanical, or systems engineering-related field, with 8+ years of sophisticated mechanical systems development experience.
- Proven track record of leading teams and managing complex projects.
- Excellent technical written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multifaceted work environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA, Program Management Professional (PMP) certification, and Earned Value Management System (EVMS) experience.
- M.S. in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, or systems engineering, and experience with launch vehicle development, production, and operations.
