LTL Sales Team Leader

About the Position:
In the role of LTL Sales Team Leader, you will embark on an intensive six-month journey to thoroughly understand our operations while collaborating closely with our sales and leadership teams.
Upon successful completion of your training, you will take charge of a team of sales professionals, tasked with generating revenue and addressing customer requirements through LTL services.

Your Responsibilities:
Enhance LTL revenue by mentoring and developing both new and existing team membersConduct interviews, hire, onboard, and train entry-level LTL account representativesGuide account representatives in LTL strategies to achieve production goalsCultivate strong relationships across the full-truckload sales divisionEnsure that team members uphold the highest standards of integrityOccasional travel to engage with LTL account representatives, prospects, and clientsAnalyze sales reports, take necessary actions, and communicate LTL trends and market insights to senior managementAssist in resolving escalated issuesDevelop and implement innovative strategies to expand accounts
Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degreeMinimum of 5 years of experience in sales management, ideally leading a team of 10 or moreAt least 3 years of proven success in LTL SalesStrong negotiation and presentation capabilitiesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProven ability to coach, lead, and inspire othersAvailability to provide on-call support for team and customers at all timesStrong professional references from customers, supervisors, peers, and direct reports
