HR Business Partner Manager Overview

With a diverse team of over 500 professionals and an annual revenue nearing $50M, TalEx is now focused on enhancing our internal accounting functions to support our rapid expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
We seek a highly skilled HRBP professional who can leverage their HR knowledge, client service acumen, and operational expertise to deliver outstanding support to one of our major enterprise clients while assisting the COO in executing strategic initiatives.
Client Engagement
- Develop and maintain a robust partnership with our key client.
- Deliver superior service to our client and stakeholders.
- Oversee daily interactions with contingent workers and managers, focusing on employee relations and client service.
- Address client inquiries and act as a point of escalation for issues.
- Conduct regular reviews and facilitate meetings with clients and stakeholders as needed.
Employee Relations
- Guide and mentor leaders in conducting thorough and impartial investigations, documenting and resolving complex employee relations matters.
- Assess the complexity and risks associated with employee relations issues and escalate significant concerns to the Director of HR.
- Provide expert advice on ethics, compliance, and employee relations matters.
- Support managers with performance management strategies, including coaching, counseling, and disciplinary actions.
- Coordinate and implement required training programs.
- Foster strong relationships with employees and the contingent workforce.
Program Development & Management
- Lead the design and execution of essential HR programs and processes, including performance management, total rewards, leadership development, employee engagement, retention, and compensation.
- Identify opportunities for organizational development and facilitate the creation of employee training initiatives.
- Develop and implement internal and external communication strategies.
General HR Support
- Provide daily assistance with general HR inquiries.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of legal requirements related to employee management, minimizing legal risks and ensuring compliance.
- Interpret and apply HR policies and procedures consistently, considering applicable federal and state laws.
- Generate HR reports as required.
Special Projects & Strategic Initiatives
- Oversee existing and new HR programs and strategic initiatives in collaboration with senior leadership.
- Manage the performance dashboard to ensure strategic milestones are achieved.
- Contribute insights on future HR projects that align with organizational goals.
- Identify and propose enhancements to improve HR process efficiencies.
- Utilize business and people metrics to derive insights and drive solutions that support business strategies.
- Advise on organizational restructuring, workforce planning, talent management, and succession planning.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of substantial HR experience, particularly in employee relations.
- Exceptional service orientation with a strong sense of urgency and integrity.
- Ability to thrive under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Capable of working independently while being an effective team player.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present, train, influence, and negotiate.
- Strong project management and program development capabilities.
- Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated initiative, self-motivation, and attention to detail, managing multiple projects with competing priorities.
- Able to quickly establish rapport with individuals from diverse backgrounds and professional levels.
- Skilled in addressing complex problems and providing innovative solutions.
- Utilizes independent judgment to achieve objectives.
- Proficient in G-Suite and Microsoft Office.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Strong skills in process development, optimization, and implementation.
- Proven ability to manage effective relationships in a high-performance culture focused on customer service.
- Demonstrated management skills in coaching, performance management, and facilitating business competencies.
