Job Summary

Hogan Lovells is seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for providing financial analysis and support to our senior management and practice leaders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review financial reports for senior management and practice leaders
  • Support the Director of Strategic Finance with projects and reporting as needed
  • Prepare monthly revenue reports for office managing partners and practice groups/area leaders
  • Assist in the preparation of the firm's annual budget and forecast periodic revenue
  • Prepare ad-hoc analysis as required covering a wide range of metrics
  • Assist in preparing schedules for the quarterly and annual law firm surveys
  • Prepare presentations for the Americas partners covering practice groups/areas and Americas offices
  • Leverage financial background to support and influence key strategic business and practice/office decisions
  • Partner with other business services support teams to deliver reports and analysis for key stakeholders in the firm
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Detail-oriented with ability to work/interact with senior level management and partners
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines with an accurate work product
  • Experience with accrual accounting methods preferred
  • Previous experience in financial analysis preferred
  • Ability to synthesize and analyze large amounts of data required
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required
  • Knowledge of basic Power BI and PowerPoint a plus
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting preferred
  • 3+ years of financial analysis experience preferably in the legal industry
  • Ability to lift twenty pounds
