Career Opportunity: We are currently seeking a seasoned Partner to enhance our established Assurance Department. This role is pivotal in overseeing assurance engagements while serving as a mentor and leader for our team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning phases of engagements, ensuring timely completion of work
  • Prepare and manage budgets effectively
  • Maintain high realization rates to ensure profitability
  • Evaluate work papers for compliance with professional standards and internal policies
  • Review financial statements and reports for accuracy
  • Discuss significant findings with the engagement partner regarding auditing standards
  • Oversee risk management and enforce quality control measures
  • Participate in practice development and manage multiple engagements
  • Handle billing and collections when appropriate
  • Foster positive relationships with client management
  • Provide mentorship and training to junior staff

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Drive new business development from both existing and prospective clients
  • Represent the firm at industry events and conferences
  • Manage expectations of both employees and clients effectively
  • Conduct timely and constructive performance evaluations
  • Maintain compliance with annual continuing professional education requirements
  • Engage in firm-sponsored initiatives and activities
  • Support staff development through active participation in learning opportunities

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting
  • Active CPA license required
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in the field
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical knowledge
  • Proficient business advisory capabilities
  • Ability to identify and implement effective solutions
  • In-depth understanding of complex technical issues
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines accurately
  • Advanced knowledge of GAAP and tax regulations
