Key Responsibilities

Operational Oversight:

  • Direct daily operations to guarantee the effective and efficient functioning of the organization.
  • Formulate, implement, and uphold standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain uniformity and high performance across various departments.
  • Regularly assess and refine operational processes to boost productivity and effectiveness.

Management of Work Environments:

  • Oversee and coordinate the organization’s remote and in-office work environments, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among team members.
  • Deploy and enhance tools and technologies to facilitate both remote and in-office operations.
  • Establish and enforce best practices for virtual meetings, project management, and team collaboration.

Support for Executive Leadership:

  • Offer strategic and operational assistance to the executive leadership team, enabling effective decision-making and execution of organizational strategies.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports, presentations, and analyses for executive leadership and the board.
  • Coordinate and oversee executive-level projects and initiatives.

Strategic Plan Implementation:

  • Supervise the execution and monitoring of the organization’s strategic plan.
  • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate progress towards strategic objectives.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on the strategic plan's status to the executive leadership team and the board.

Project Management Standards:

  • Collaborate with the Project Management Committee to maintain and refine project management guidelines and tools, ensuring consistency and efficiency in project execution.
  • Act as a power user for Microsoft Project, offering support and training to team members.
  • Utilize Power BI to create and manage dashboards and reports, ensuring data-driven decision-making.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Lead and manage the operations team, promoting a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Provide mentorship and development opportunities for team members.
  • Ensure effective communication and alignment of operational objectives with the organization’s mission and vision.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Project Management, or a related discipline.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent is highly desirable.

Experience:

  • At least 8 years of experience in operations management, with a minimum of 3 years in a senior leadership capacity.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing remote and in-office teams and optimizing work environments.
  • Strong background in developing and implementing standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Experience in strategic planning and monitoring progress towards long-term objectives.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project and Power BI.
