Job Summary

The Loan Officer Assistant plays a vital role in the mortgage banking process, supporting originators in building complete loan files for submission. This role performs Lead to Contract duties, ensuring seamless customer interactions and efficient loan processing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as primary point of contact for customers, providing timely and professional communication.
  • Assist originators in appointment setting, lead management, and calendar organization.
  • Provide administrative support, managing client databases and sending pre-qualification links.
  • Analyze customer credit and financial scenarios, determining suitable loan products.
  • Run credit reports, AUS findings, and prepare Initial Fee Worksheets.
  • Coordinate marketing efforts, including email campaigns and advertising materials.
  • Manage referral source relationships, maintaining excellent customer service.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with at least two years of experience in mortgage lending or a related field.
  • Active MLO licensing required.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in data entry, PDF software, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
