Position Summary

The RESPOND Assistant Program Manager is crucial in steering residential initiatives within the Youth and Family Services sector. This role encompasses the management of daily operations, staff oversight, and ensuring adherence to program standards. Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, including a psychiatric nurse, BCBA behavioral analyst, psychiatrist, and behavioral health counselors, is vital. A solid understanding of Trauma-Informed Care and the ability to apply ABA therapy techniques are essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Billing and the Program Quality and Compliance team to establish and execute behavioral/mental health Quality Assurance processes, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Maintain documentation to meet clinical requirements and prepare for monitoring visits and corrective action plans.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety protocols and provide guidance to staff.
  • Conduct interviews, hire, and assess staff while maintaining approved staffing levels.
  • Foster positive relationships with external agencies and organizations to explore program growth opportunities.
  • Oversee clinical processes, methodologies, and manage crises and emergencies.
  • Participate in on-call rotation responsibilities.
  • Manage departmental revenue expenditures in accordance with established budgets.
  • Supervise purchasing and expense reconciliation processes.
Qualifications
  • Master's degree in chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling, nursing (with a clinical specialty in human services) OR a Bachelor's degree in Mental Health, Social Work, or a related field with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Other combinations of education and experience may be considered.
  • Individuals without licensure or PCB credentials must be willing to obtain them upon hire.
  • A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle are required.
Work Environment
  • Primarily office-based with occasional attendance at external meetings and conferences.
  • Flexibility in schedule is necessary to meet program demands.
  • Ability to travel to various Familylinks offices may be required.
  • Physical ability to lift and carry up to ten (10) pounds.
