Role Summary

The RESPOND Assistant Program Manager is crucial in steering residential initiatives within the Youth and Family Services sector. This position involves:

Core Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Billing and Program Quality and Compliance to establish and implement behavioral health quality assurance processes in line with regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records to comply with clinical documentation standards and prepare for monitoring visits.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety protocols and provide staff training as necessary.
  • Conduct interviews, hire, and assess staff to maintain optimal staffing levels.
  • Foster positive relationships with external agencies to explore program growth opportunities.
  • Oversee clinical processes, methodologies, and crisis management.
  • Participate in on-call rotation duties.
  • Manage departmental budget expenditures effectively.
  • Supervise purchasing and expense reconciliation procedures.
Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling, or nursing (with a clinical focus in human services) OR a Bachelor's degree in Mental Health, Social Work, or a related field with a minimum of two years of relevant experience.
  • Alternative combinations of education and experience may be considered.
  • Unlicensed individuals must be willing to obtain licensure or PCB certification upon hire.
  • A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle are required.
Work Environment
  • This role is primarily office-based, with occasional attendance at external meetings and conferences.
  • Flexibility in schedule is necessary to meet program demands.
  • Ability to travel to various Familylinks locations as needed.
  • Physical capability to lift and carry up to ten pounds.
