Your Role as an Evening Operations Coordinator

The Evening Operations Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the Supervisor with the daily management of the department. This position requires a thorough understanding of safety protocols, departmental regulations, and quality standards. You will be instrumental in achieving and surpassing production, safety, and quality objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Actively participate in production line operations to meet output goals.
  • Implement and promote safe working practices while identifying areas for safety enhancements.
  • Ensure cleanliness and compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) within the workspace.
  • Assist in training and guiding team members to fulfill their roles effectively.
  • Oversee daily activities of the team to align with production targets.
  • Provide immediate troubleshooting support for equipment and process challenges, escalating issues as necessary.
  • Coordinate cleanup and transition activities on the production line.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for production discrepancies and safety incidents.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience, or three years of relevant leadership experience in a manufacturing setting preferred.
  • Ability to effectively communicate challenges to appropriate leadership levels.
  • Flexibility to engage with team members across all organizational levels.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in multitasking within a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for interaction with staff and partners.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as required.

Work Environment

The Evening Operations Coordinator role is situated in a manufacturing setting, which may involve:
