Key Responsibilities:
(The following tasks are not listed in order of priority. Additional duties may be assigned.)


Conduct inspections, airframe interactions, ground operations, troubleshooting, adjustments, and repairs of engines and associated components as per manufacturer guidelines.

Perform duties that reflect professionalism to clients and their representatives, ensuring compliance with the manufacturer's approved modification specifications for engines and related components.

Expertly handle the attachment of Powerplant "Quick Engine Change" components and the installation of powerplants in aircraft, along with propellers, governors, and engine-related accessories.

Oversee tooling calibrations for any equipment utilized in assigned tasks.

Execute any inspections for which you are certified following engine repairs and modifications, as well as the inspection of powerplants post-installation for final acceptance and service release.

Make determinations regarding airworthiness and provide appropriate certification for completed work, including Final Inspection and "Release to Service" for any tasks performed within the Repair Station's Rating, whether at the Repair Station or elsewhere.

Consistent attendance and punctuality within customary limits.

Seeking maintenance professionals with an A&P license and substantial technical knowledge of specific turbine engine types and models including TFE731, PT6A, PW300, PW500, JT15D, Spey, Tay, HTF7000, GTCP 36 APU, and BR710.

A college degree or a high school diploma with technical vocational training and knowledge typically acquired through university, trade school, military aircraft maintenance programs, or equivalent apprenticeship programs.

Effective written and verbal communication skills are essential.
Possession of proper hand tools is required.
Must be proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English.
A valid driver's license is necessary.

Demonstrated proficiency in MS Word and Excel, with the ability to learn any corporate or industry-specific software relevant to the position.

Authorization to work in the US is mandatory.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Active engagement in field locations, including hangars and ramps, requiring the exertion of force to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.

Work may involve walking, sitting, driving, or standing for varying periods necessary to operate equipment attached to or being attached to aircraft.


Vision:
Near clarity of vision is essential for detailed engine and document analysis.

Field Service Specialists assume QC Inspector responsibilities and must pass a vision test at no less than sixteen inches, or equivalent (20/30 vision) with one eye, either natural or corrected.


Reaching:
Extending hands and arms in any direction.

Handling:
Seizing, holding, grasping, turning, or otherwise manipulating with hands.

Fingers are involved to the extent that they act as extensions of the hand, such as turning a switch or shifting gears, primarily using fingers rather than the whole hand or arm.


Talking:

Expressing or exchanging ideas verbally to convey detailed instructions to colleagues, customers, or agents accurately and effectively.


Hearing:
Effectively perceiving sounds by ear.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Environment may include periods of elevated noise exposure due to engine testing.
Frequent exposure to outdoor weather conditions.
Must be prepared to travel 70-90% of the time.
May require travel to locations outside of the United States.

Work settings include hangars, ramps, and engine shop environments, involving heavy parts, chemicals, and fluids, with adherence to precision instruments and stringent safety regulations.
