Position Summary: We are currently seeking skilled Avionics Technicians II & III to join our dynamic team. This role will be primarily based in our Oklahoma City, OK facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform removal and installation of avionics and electrical components with limited supervision.
  • Fabricate, terminate, and conduct continuity checkouts of aircraft electrical wiring.
  • Execute operational and functional checkouts, troubleshooting, and repairs of all avionics and electrical systems.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Remove/install electrical components, fixtures, and associated equipment.
  • Modify and fabricate complex wiring as needed.
  • Interpret complex wiring diagrams, maintenance manuals, schematics, and engineering blueprints.
  • Complete assigned tasks within designated time frames.
  • Utilize basic hand tools and avionics equipment, such as multimeters and crimpers, effectively.
  • Conduct operational and functional checkouts of all avionics and electrical systems.
  • Collaborate with team leads on avionics and wiring-related issues.
  • Provide training and mentorship to junior technicians as required.
  • Perform Mechanic in Charge (MIC) duties with management approval as necessary.
  • Adhere to safety, compliance, and regulatory policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience in avionics.
  • High School diploma or GED is required.
  • Completion of two (2) years of accredited schooling in Aviation Electronics (Avionics) is preferred.
  • FAA A&P License is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work in confined spaces and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Capability to stand or bend for extended periods.

Additional Information:

A negative pre-employment drug and alcohol test is required for this position, and the incumbent will be subject to random drug and alcohol testing.
