About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Associate to join our Media Sales team at PitchBook. As a Business Development Associate, you will play a critical role in driving sales growth and revenue by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prospect and qualify new business leads through cold and warm outreach efforts
  • Develop and execute creative acquisition strategies to engage top clients
  • Build relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders to drive deal closure
  • Work closely with senior business development representatives to grow knowledge of client needs and the end-to-end sales cycle
  • Document client interactions and sales activity in Salesforce to improve customer experience and drive deal closure
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, or related field
  • 1+ year of successful sales experience with a technology product preferred
  • Prior experience with Salesforce or similar CRM preferred
  • Experience in financial markets or services, particularly private equity and venture capital preferred
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to effectively close leads
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to operate with a strong sense of urgency and deliver results
What We Offer
  • Annual base salary: $62,500
  • Annual on-target variable commission: $30,000
